Nice is located in the French Riviera, on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, at the foot of the Alps. It is a beautiful city with a spectacular sea front. We were in Nice from June 9th to the 13th. We stayed in a nice AirBnB that was very centrally located - and had excellent AC, which was really nice since Nice was very hot and humid while we were there.
One of the attractions in Nice is the Marc Chagall museum. Chagall died in 1985. He was a Russian-French artist of Belarusian Jewish origin, who spent much of his life in Nice. I was not a fan of Chagall going in, but, as usual, having an audioguide to help understand him and his work won me over. Most of the paintings in this album are from his Bible series. The last 2 are side by side works of his with recreations by local school children.
